WaterNSW operates the state's dams, capturing and storing water, and then supplying it ready for distribution – for the environment, agriculture, industry and the community. With 41 major dams and hundreds of waterways across the state, we play a vital role at the source of the state's water, delivering two thirds of all water used in NSW.
We're the people taking care of the state's water at the source – capturing, storing, delivering. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to clean water and that our rivers are healthy and thriving.
Our Benefits

Job Description
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and has a strong desire to contribute their skills and expertise to our business. As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Liaison Professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote and preserve Aboriginal culture and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs that promote and preserve Aboriginal culture and values.
- Work with community leaders and organizations to build relationships and foster collaboration.
- Provide cultural guidance and support to WaterNSW staff and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures that respect and reflect Aboriginal culture and values.

- You must have a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and history.
- You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- You must be committed to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and values.
