Critical Care Medical Specialist

The Retrieval Registrar will provide critical care medical services to patients in inter-facility transport and retrieval environments. This role requires experience in neonatal and paediatric critical care medical disciplines.
This individual must be able to work with an experienced team to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care to critically ill or injured children and neonates.
- Perform clinical duties to stabilize and safely transport critically ill and injured children and neonates during retrieval operations.
- Participate in the operational retrieval shift roster, including day, evening, and night shifts, as well as on-call periods.
- Undertake retrievals by road, rotary wing, and fixed-wing aircraft throughout South Australia and interstate or occasionally overseas.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience in neonatal and paediatric critical care medical disciplines.
- Ability to work with an experienced team.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
