Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled sheet metal fabricator to join our team in Hexham, NSW.

The successful candidate will be involved in the full fabrication process, including preparing parts, using machinery, and assisting with installations. This is a great opportunity to gain solid, practical experience while learning the trade.

  • Learns how to use hand tools and perform tack welding
  • Assists with building components for switch rooms and other electrical infrastructure
  • Gains hands-on experience in a workshop-based environment
  • Develops skills in safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship

About the Role:

This is a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication) that will provide you with a strong foundation in the trade. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects and sites within the energy and utilities sector.

Requirements:

  • Drivers Licence
  • Completed Year 10 or higher (Year 12 preferred) with Pass marks in Maths & English
  • Willingness to travel to different projects / sites as part of the apprenticeship programme
  • Keen to learn and work in a hands-on, workshop-based environment
  • Committed to safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship
