Now Careers are currently looking for experienced sheet metal workers and fabricators In Smithfield manufacturing ventilation products and industrial equipment.

  • $40-$50 ORD Rate
  • Day shift 5am start or afternoon 2pm start
  • Overtime available

We are seeking reliable and experienced sheet metal workers to join a growing manufacturing team that produces high-quality ventilation systems and industrial equipment. This hands-on role involves fabrication, assembly, and general workshop duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components for ventilation and industrial components.
  • Operation of workshop machinery: press brake, guillotine, folder, rollers, and plasma cutter.
  • Reading and interpreting shop drawings.
  • Use of hand and power tools.
  • Use of overhead crane and forklift beneficial.
  • Performing quality control checks and ensuring products meet design specifications and standards.

What we are looking for:
  • Trade qualified in Australia or overseas equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience.
  • Background in HVAC, ventilation or industrial advantageous.
  • Ability to read shop drawings and work within tolerances.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Reliable with excellent work ethic.
  • Own transport.
