Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, including productivity bonuses and superannuation. In addition to a comprehensive salary package, you will also enjoy employee benefits, including performance incentive bonuses and recognition programs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Technician to undertake scheduled preventative maintenance checks on plant equipment, daily pre and post start plant checks, and responding to site breakdowns. You will be responsible for identifying faults and completing repairs, as well as studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable machinery settings.

You will work with a range of heavy industrial equipment, including CAT, Volvo, Verex, Komatsu, and Liebherr machines. Your strong safety focus and mechanical problem-solving skills will enable you to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a diverse team, working in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require a heavy mechanical trade qualification (Plant or machinery) and experience in a heavy industrial environment. You must also be flexible to work weekends, overtime, and different shifts as required. A current driver's licence and own tools are essential.
