We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Heavy Diesel Mechanic to assist with the repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles. This apprentice position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and parts management.

About the Job

  • Assist experienced tradespeople with vehicle repairs and servicing
  • Perform diagnostic checks and troubleshoot issues on heavy vehicles
  • Contribute to managing inventory and workshop tasks
  • Support emergency repairs and breakdown assistance as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Currently undertaking a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or has completed a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and wishes to upskill
  • Availability to work overtime and some Saturdays is required
  • A reliable and motivated individual with a genuine interest in the automotive industry is essential
  • Holds a valid driver's license and has access to a car, or resides locally to Morisset
