Job Overview:

This role involves the repair and maintenance of heavy diesel products, requiring a skilled individual to diagnose and resolve engine issues. The ideal candidate will possess an Apprentice Trained Engine Technician certification or equivalent, along with basic workshop experience and knowledge of engine products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on heavy diesel products
  • Diagnose and rectify engine problems
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components
  • Perform engine rebuilding and reconditioning tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools
  • Support the completion of required documentation
Critical Competencies:
  • Health and Safety Principles - Promote proactive health and safety practices
  • Diagnostics Application - Troubleshoot issues using guided workflows and procedures
  • Electronic Service Tool Application - Identify and utilize electronic tool sets
  • Engine Systems Interactions - Analyze interactions between internal and external systems
  • Product Repair and Maintenance - Repair and maintain mechanical/electrical products
  • Service Documentation - Create and verify customer information
  • Technical Escalation - Obtain product technical issue information
Additional Requirements:
  • Full Time / 38 hours per week
  • Day Shift (06:30 – 14:36)
  • Saturdays available
  • Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid
  • Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided
