About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Service Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Service Technician, you will perform heavy-duty mechanical repair under general supervision with on-the-job training in a development program to achieve Service Journeyman status.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems;
  2. Detect and diagnose complex mechanical problems using advanced diagnostic tools;
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve processes;
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment;
  5. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
  • 1-2 years of experience in diesel service or a related field;
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain a valid driver's license;
  • Knowledge of diesel engine repair principles and practices;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
