Job Opportunity

The Warehouse Lead position at our Gympie factory is an exciting opportunity to take sole charge of daily operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Reporting to the Gympie Factory Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for supervising 4 forklift operators, ensuring timely and accurate goods receipt and dispatch, servicing materials to 9 filling lines, and managing pallets.

This role requires a high degree of organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail with a customer service focus. Experience with SAP software is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of forklift operators
  • Timely and accurate goods receipt and dispatch
  • Servicing of materials to filling lines
  • Pallet management
  • Coordination of cycle counting
  • Ensuring proper storage of materials in warehouses
  • Site contact for forklift fleet, scanners, and racking management
  • Construction of weekly truck plans with Operational Buyers
  • Ensure compliance to Safety and Chain of Responsibility procedures

What Will Make You Successful:

  • Qualifications and/or experience in warehouse management
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Confident communicator, able to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to change
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with customer service focus
  • Competent computer skills with experience using SAP preferred
