Job Description:

The role of an Air Crewmember is a technical crew position that requires proficiency in various techniques to perform Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical, Rappelling, Sling Loading, Passenger Transport, and Winching Operations.

This technical crew role is responsible for the safe and efficient management of the aircraft's rear cabin and during flying operations. The Air Crewmember works in various onshore and offshore environments, sharing the common objective to render assistance to personnel in emergency situations.

The Air Crewmember performs demanding and complex tasks under stressful conditions, potentially exposed to traumatic and challenging situations. In addition, crews may be required to cover diverse requirements where they are expected to safely and successfully manage all facets of the position, regardless of the contract.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining dual qualifications - Air Crewmember & Rescue Crewmember
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Conducting safe flight operations complying with relevant regulations
  • Assisting in the management of the aircraft rear cabin during flying operations
  • Conducting appropriate flight and safety briefings
  • Thorough knowledge of search and rescue equipment
  • Reporting operational and maintenance safety deficiencies
  • Rending first aid when necessary
