Building Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to lead our team in conducting comprehensive building inspections and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough building inspections and assessments to identify structural, safety or compliance issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with architects, contractors, and stakeholders regarding building regulation matters.
  • Prepare and process documentation relating to building approvals, inspection reports, and occupancy certificates.
  • Review building plans and drawings to assess compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and planning requirements.
  • Liaise with local authorities, architects, builders, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest changes to building and planning regulations and industry best practices.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills in building surveying through participation in training programs, workshops, and seminars.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with relevant building and planning codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide support to the domestic division as required.
  • Maintain CPD points required to maintain licences, registrations, and accreditation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Building Surveyor / Certifier and/or inspector in QLD.
  • Proficient in Building Surveying/Certification in QLD.
  • Recognised Bachelor's Degree and/or Advanced Diploma in Building Surveying.
  • Current QBCC Certifier / Inspector Licence is preferred.
