Advanced Dam Mechanisms Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead our mechanical systems design team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the design of gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership in the design of mechanical systems for water storage dams
• Mentor and develop a team of mechanical engineers to deliver high-quality projects
• Oversee delivery of quality technical solutions and successful project outcomes
• Participate in client relationship management, business development and the development of proposals and technical reports
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 15 years' experience in a consulting environment, specifically in the design and specification of mechanical systems associated with dams
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Experience working in multi-disciplined teams and leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
