Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to join our team as a Clinical Genetics Officer. In this role, you will provide administrative support for the Department of Clinical Genetics, maintaining a sound knowledge of departmental activities to support its aims and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide reception services, including receiving patients, answering phone calls, and assisting clinical staff with triage of calls
  • Perform administrative tasks such as typing and mailing letters or reports, scanning and filing documents, distributing mail and files
  • Assist more senior staff with clinic coordination, including counsellors, doctors, and other administrative staff
  • Enter and analyze data in clinical and administrative databases

Requirements

  • Prior experience in reception and administrative roles, particularly in medical and paramedical environments
  • High level organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Experience in clinic coordination, including audio transcription and medical terminology
