Clinical Genetics Admin Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team in the Department of Clinical Genetics.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support including reception duties, typing and mailing correspondence, scanning and filing documents, and distributing mail and files.
  • Assisting with outpatient clinic bookings or clinic coordination and Medicare billing.
  • Maintaining high levels of professionalism in telephone manner and oral and written communication skills.

A strong understanding of Microsoft Office and medical terminology is essential. The successful candidate will also possess knowledge of patient confidentiality principles.
