Key Responsibilities
Assist with general HR administration queries for our 150+ staff
Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management
Assist in the administration of various HR activities, including internal mandatory staff training
Collaborate with teams on staff performance, training, and development, WHS, health and wellbeing, and engagement initiatives
Participate in the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures
Maintain the HRIS system
Provide general office and administrative support as needed
Requirements
Human Resources-related qualifications or working towards a qualification (preferred)
Demonstrated experience in a similar HR role (exp. in the civil construction industry highly regarded but not essential)
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Experience in award interpretation, specifically with the Building & Construction Award, Quarrying Cement & Lime Award, and Manufacturing and Associated Industries Award (highly regarded)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong planning and organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail
Demonstrates integrity and discretion, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in all HR matters
