About the Role

As a Senior Licensing Consultant at Datacom, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing Software Licensing business from new and existing clients. Your primary objective will be to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain regular contact with clients, working closely with the team to deliver upon the licensing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Present and Future Software Licensing Needs
    • Assess the current and future software licensing requirements of new and existing clients
  • Propose Suitable Solutions
    • Develop and propose software licensing solutions that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction
    • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure their software licensing needs are met and their experience is a true partnership
  • Work with the Regional Team
    • Collaborate with the regional team to plan for all software renewals and ensure a seamless experience for clients
  • Negotiate Price and Volume Discounts
    • Negotiate price and volume discounts with software vendors to secure the best possible deals for clients
  • Coordinate Software Licensing Proposals
    • Coordinate the preparation of software licensing proposals, tenders/bids, contracts, and account management plans
  • Evaluate Customers' Business Needs
    • Evaluate customers' business needs and contribute to the strategic planning of information systems facilities and software directions
  • Maintain Budgeted Revenue Target
    • Maintain budgeted revenue targets in line with team KPIs and metrics
Requirements
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Software Licensing
    • Have a deep understanding of software licensing principles and practices
  • Expertise with Key Vendor Solutions
    • Have expertise with key software vendor solutions and be able to navigate their licensing models
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Sales and Licensing
    • Have at least 3 years of experience in sales and licensing, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
    • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business needs and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
    • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to clients
  • Proficient in Building and Managing Customer Relationships
    • Be proficient in building and managing customer relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong Business Acumen and Understanding of Financial Implications
