Leading Chemistry and Drug Discovery Expert

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our centre in the domain of chemistry and drug discovery, encompassing 10 group leaders, 40 staff members, and approximately 50 HDR students.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of academic leadership, demonstrated by both individual output and exceptional support for colleagues. This involves fostering a robust and successful culture, as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive partnerships.
Beyond strategic research leadership, we seek an expert with at least 15 years of experience in chemistry and proven success in securing grants, generating revenue, and establishing international recognition.
This role demands natural collaboration skills, ability to influence, and proficiency in driving collective goals while maintaining close working relationships within IMB.
