Environmental Compliance Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team in the role of Environmental Compliance Officer. This exciting opportunity will provide you with the chance to work at the forefront of environmental regulation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and protecting public health.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Duty 1: Regulatory Compliance - Ensure that all activities within your scope of responsibility are in compliance with relevant environmental laws and regulations.
- Duty 2: Stakeholder Engagement - Engage with stakeholders, including community groups, industry representatives and government agencies, to promote environmental awareness and facilitate collaboration.
- Duty 3: Data Management - Collect, analyze and report on data related to environmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhanced compliance.
- Duty 4: Team Collaboration - Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive environmental excellence.
About You
- You will have tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health or equivalent, as accredited by Environmental Health Australia or nearing completion.
- A current driver's license is essential.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
