We are currently seeking a skilled and ambitious Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take on more responsibility, mentor junior staff, and step into a clear pathway toward Supervisor or Manager level.

About the Role

This Senior Accountant role will involve managing end-to-end client engagements across a diverse portfolio. You will deliver high-quality compliance and advisory outcomes, support and review junior staff, and work closely with partners on more complex matters.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and high net worth individuals.
  • Manage client assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional results.
  • Provide expert advice on advanced tax matters, including Division 7A, Capital Gains Tax (with small business concessions), trust streaming, and loss utilisation.
  • Develop and implement tailored tax planning strategies for small to medium-sized enterprises and investment groups.
  • Liaise directly with clients, the Australian Taxation Office, and regulatory bodies.
  • Review and provide feedback on the work of junior/intermediate staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations while meeting productivity and billing targets.
About You
  • You hold a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification or equivalent.
  • You have a minimum of four years' experience in Australian public practice, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • You possess technical expertise across multiple entity types and industries.
  • You can deliver accurate, client-ready work with minimal revisions.
  • You excel in communication and client service, with a strong focus on building long-term relationships.
  • You are ambitious and eager to progress into leadership roles.
