Our client is a leading Australian agriculture business with operations across the country. They have been in operation for a number of years and are one of the leading players in their industry.

You will be reporting into a longstanding and supportive Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and delivery of insightful management accounts to support the Management team in commercial decision making.
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process for the group.
  • Managing the transactional finance team, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner and ensuring the team remains supported and working hard.
  • Working closely with Operations and Sales teams to ensure commercial activities are being driven to the highest possible standard.
  • Driving changes and improvements to the finance processes, systems, and ways of working, bringing a positive and educated change to the existing processes.
  • Supporting the wider finance team - getting involved in month-end and statutory reporting when required to support the team.

Requirements

  • A recognised accounting qualification, or a relevant level of experience in relevant areas.
  • Experience managing a team - ideally of three or more staff.
  • Experience producing quality management reporting information.
  • Exposure using different, complex accounting systems.
