This salary is inclusive of 25% casual loading. We are seeking an experienced APS 6 Program Delivery Officer to join our team in Canberra.

Job Overview

Hudson Australia has partnered with a high-profile government department to deliver an important grants program. The successful candidate will have experience in program/project management, procurement and grants administration, contract management, financial and grant reporting, program governance and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Eligibility checking, assessment, undertaking grant processes to award new scholarships, making payments, reporting against outcomes of the grants
  • Supporting the delivery of Round 2 including development of processes and procedures
  • Communication with applicants and recipients, including supporting scholarship recipients to meet their scholarship obligations
  • Working with a diverse range of stakeholders
Requirements
  • Experience in program/project management including procurement and grants administration, contract management, financial and grant reporting, program governance and evaluation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to collaborate to achieve outcomes
  • Problem-solving skills and high attention to detail, including the ability to contribute to complex projects
  • Organisational skills, self-motivation, resilience and ability to be flexible and agile in a fluid work environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
  • Performing additional duties or assuming responsibility of functions as directed by the supervisor from time to time
