Job Summary:

Job2Go Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Chef to join their café team in Laverton, Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost-effective menus and recipes.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Estimate food and labour costs and manage inventory effectively.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and personal judgment.
  • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery.
  • Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience as a Chef.
