Creative Animation Specialist

Our ideal candidate will produce elite animation content, work collaboratively within a team environment, and under direction to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with artists, animators, and game designers to build impressive game animation on brief and on time.
  • Produce 2D and 3D animation with emphasis on character animation and rigging for models, showcasing expertise in Spine and Blender.
  • Be a subject matter authority in animation production for interactive entertainment.
  • Deliver accurate assets on time, meeting functional and aesthetic quality requirements, while maintaining excellent file organization.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risk, and resolve unexpected issues during development.
  • Maintain high-quality work standards and follow established processes for asset creation and management.
  • Experience with Spine is essential, and the ability to build 3D models is highly regarded.

Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Animation or related are desirable, along with an up-to-date showreel demonstrating creativity and skill.

2+ years of experience in a professional creative production environment, with a proven track record of delivering results.

Computer Literacy

  • Proficiency in core application software, including 3DStudio Max, Maya, VRay, ZBrush, Adobe CC Suite, Blender, and Spine, with experience in Substance Painter highly regarded.

General

  • Excellent understanding of animation production techniques and pipelines, with high level competency in creating and delivering content using key software.
  • Display initiative to drive projects and present new ideas, with high attention to detail and good analytical skills.
