The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales processes and be able to develop and deliver marketing/territory plans that support revenue growth in direct and indirect channels.

This hands-on business development role involves end-to-end sales responsibilities, including generating enquiries, customer visits, technical applications, quotes, terms and conditions, and operational sales aspects.

Regular local and domestic travel, as well as occasional international travel, are required to ensure sales support and development in the region.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a dynamic individual with experience in developing direct and indirect sales channels, sales planning, territory management, distributor management, and key account management.
  • A strong understanding of consultative selling techniques, market analysis, and closing new business opportunities is essential.
  • The ideal candidate should have knowledge of compressed air systems, dewatering pumps, and power generation products.
  • A technical degree and/or mechanical trade qualification is desired but not essential.
  • Extensive experience in selling parts and service products, such as service contracts and fixed-price plans, is necessary.
  • The successful candidate will have high-level analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Strong PC skills, particularly in Microsoft 365 products, and experience using SAP CRM and ERP platforms are also required.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and willingness to travel interstate regularly and occasionally internationally are necessary.
