Building Supply Sales Executive: Drive Business Growth

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Frontline Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for the building and construction sector to drive business growth and succeed in a dynamic environment.
Job OverviewAs a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to identify and seize new business opportunities within the residential building sector. You will utilize your extensive network to establish connections with key decision-makers among top builders in Perth and present our comprehensive range of timber and hardware products effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Sales Representative or Account Manager in the building materials industry, with established relationships with top residential builders in Perth. They will possess in-depth knowledge of timber and hardware products, with the ability to communicate their features and benefits persuasively.
In addition to sales experience, the successful candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate strong client relationships, as well as results-driven approach to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
The role demands a high work ethic, extraordinary people skills, and the ability to work to a high standard. We offer an attractive remuneration package, including a fully maintained company car provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and seize new business opportunities within the residential building sector.
- Establish connections with key decision-makers among top 10-20 builders in Perth.
- Present our comprehensive range of timber and hardware products effectively, emphasizing their value proposition to potential clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with small to medium Builders as well as large Corporate Builders.
- Foster relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, contributing to overall growth objectives.
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales prospects, driving significant contribution to sales targets.
- Sell across a range of building supplies, including Roof Timber, Truss Roof, Wall Framing, Flooring Systems, Doors, Second Fix, Hardies Products, and Brickies Hardware.
- Established relationships with Builders in WA.
- Prior sales experience within the building materials sector is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of the local building sector to foster connections and relationships with local builders.
- Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales growth.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient IT skills for streamlined communication and reporting.
$80,000 - $100,000 per annum. A competitive salary that reflects your skills and experience.
