About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Advisor to join our team at Concentis. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in implementing, designing, and developing Health, Safety, and Environmental programs/projects supporting activities across our port and refinery in North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs based on operational needs.
  • Ensure risk and safety compliance with government regulations and internal policies.
  • Work with the established internal procedure and adapt them to fit current site requirements and legislation.
  • Manage, collate, and report on environmental data for any non-compliance or anticipated issues and provide advice and practical changes.
  • Coordinate and deliver activities relating to hazard management, risk assessment, health and wellbeing, and incident investigations including post risk workshops and key control actions.
  • Continuous identification of potential improvement opportunities.
About You
  • HSE procedural background and safety generalist knowledge.
  • Commitment to health and safety policies both internally as well as broadly.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting tasks, and be able to adapt to daily changes.
  • Management of conflicting priorities and site practices, ensuring safe and compliant outcomes.
  • Practical 'do-er' attitude, with an interest in getting things done quickly and efficiently rather than getting bogged down in the detail.
