About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a First Nations Communications and Engagement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping and sharing the stories of our programs and initiatives to bridge gaps and build understanding.

As a First Nations Communications and Engagement Officer, you will work closely with our communications team to ensure the reputation and engagement of our programs and initiatives are reflected accurately across our website, social media, and marketing collateral. You will also provide advice to staff on communication and engagement strategies to support the work of our First Nations Arts team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective communication and engagement strategies to promote our programs and initiatives
  • Work with our communications team to ensure accurate representation of our programs and initiatives across all channels
  • Provide guidance to staff on communication and engagement strategies to support the work of our First Nations Arts team
  • Scope out opportunities for effective communication and refining strategies, including those required for key events

What We Offer

We offer a full-time, permanent opportunity with a salary of $86,578 per annum + 15.4% superannuation. You will also receive paid leave between Christmas and New Year, ceremonial, NAIDOC, and cultural leave, wellbeing programs, corporate discounts, and a holistic employee assistance program for employees, their families, and kin.
