Business Development Specialist
This is a role for someone who can build strong relationships with clients and help us grow our business.
We are looking for someone who has experience in business development and can identify new opportunities for us. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales and be able to build long-term pipelines.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to promote our products and services effectively. They will also need to be able to maintain strong product and market knowledge and ensure that all solutions submissions meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building business relationships to enhance sales
- Identifying and converting new opportunities for total solutions/product sales
- Providing total BMCS, MSI, and System Solutions while promoting our capabilities and extensive product range
- Maintaining strong product and market knowledge
- Promoting a positive approach within the industry related to our product range and new initiatives
- Ensuring all solutions submissions are prepared, checked, and entered into client submissions
- Maintaining a network of industry intelligence to ensure competitiveness and professional presentation of proposals exceeds industry expectations
- Providing regular updates to the General Manager with client and industry feedback
- Timely submission of sale and order forecasts as required
- Delivery of pipeline, booking, sales & gross margin targets
- Leadership in implementation of Business Development strategies and other projects
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of BMCS, HVAC, and similar industries
- Proven track record of sales within the industry
- Ability to build long-term pipelines
- Existing network of contacts in the marketplace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
