Infrastructure Transition Expert

This role requires a high degree of technical expertise and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the transition process, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transition of new data centers to operations.
  • Develop and implement processes to streamline the transition process, reducing delays and improving efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the transition process.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain effective communication plans.
  • Provide training and support to operations teams on new data center infrastructure and technology.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience delivering projects in mission-critical facilities.
  • 4+ years of experience in a 24x7x365 production environment or related experience.
  • Relevant experience in data center design, construction, commissioning, onboarding processes, operations or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in collaboration platforms (e.g. SharePoint, MS Teams etc.).
  • Proficient in reporting and data analytics systems & platforms (e.g. PowerBI).
  • Strong working knowledge of physical data center infrastructure and technology.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by business needs.
  • Knowledge of design, construction and commissioning techniques, terminology, and documentation.
  • Practical experience with building management systems and automation, controls & frameworks.
  • Ability to initiate, drive and deliver projects, analyze complex problems and communicate plans and findings to internal customers/stakeholders.
