Key Roles and Responsibilities

We're seeking skilled individuals to help us lead in sustainable packaging solutions. As a workshop fitter, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and preparing mould gear and ancillaries.

You will work closely with the mould maintenance manager, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations. Key tasks include:

  • Maintaining and repairing mould equipment and tooling
  • Performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues and supporting root cause analysis
  • Ensuring moulds meet quality specifications and production timelines

You will have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification as a mechanical fitter (toolmaking experience an advantage)
  • Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance schedules
  • Familiarity with safety standards and a proactive safety mindset
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
