Aged Care/Disability Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Eminence Care, a registered NDIS and aged care provider. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with health issues and daily living needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home support to participants with health issues and daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, showering, grooming, meal preparation, transport arrangement, shopping assistance, cooking, community participation, and social activities.
  • Assist clients with domestic duties and promote independence.
  • Develop and implement client-specific programs to enhance social skills and confidence.
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain accurate records in accordance with NDIS standards.

About You:

We are looking for a Support Worker who is reliable, empathetic, and committed to providing quality care. You should have extensive knowledge of the disability sector and be able to comprehend the needs of participants. The following skills are essential:

  • Understanding of confidentiality and reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and client incident management.
  • Hoist transfer knowledge and experience in various outdoor pursuits.
  • Practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment to care.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
