We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Aged Care Homes. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and mobility.
  • Support residents with their medication needs, including administration and monitoring.
  • Engage with residents in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Certification in Individual Support or a related field.
  • Experience working in aged care or a related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
