As a financial industry expert, you will support a wide range of research projects and develop new research initiatives in response to evolving market conditions.
Collaborate with the team to achieve successful execution of research initiatives and lead specific projects after gaining experience.
Contribute to creating new research content, assist the sales team in identifying and scoping new opportunities, and refine new research processes, methodologies, and research formats.
Provide consulting and analytical support for recurring and new research projects.
Demonstrate care, precision, diligence, and thoughtfulness in research analytics, report production, and verification processes.
Share knowledge and understanding of industry developments with team members on a formal and informal basis.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute research projects representing client deliverables.
- Support the team in achieving successful project execution and lead specific projects after gaining experience.
- Contribute to creating new research content and assist the sales team in identifying and scoping new opportunities.
- Refine new research processes, methodologies, and research formats.
- Provide consulting and analytical support for recurring and new research projects.
- Tertiary qualification in mathematics, economics, statistics, or finance.
- Preferably 5 years' experience in financial services with a focus on the wealth management industries or experience with a market research firm or consulting business active in the financial services industry.
- Understanding of life insurance products, retirement products, and managed investments.
- Familiarity with Australian financial regulators and financial markets.
- Strong mathematical aptitude, analysis, forecasting/modelling skills, and communication skills.
