Job Description

The role is responsible for the end-to-end process and solution design for procurement, invoicing & expense activities.

A skilled professional will join our team as a key member, identifying system issues, managing user incident tickets, investigating root causes, and resolving systems incidents.

This individual will work closely with business users in a matrix organisation across multiple regions to prioritise and manage expectations, particularly on change requests and system issues.

Responsibilities include creating Master data and configuration files in Open text VIM, Ariba Cloud, managing approval flow templates in Open text VIM as well as Ariba Upstream and Downstream.

Furthermore, this person will design and perform functional test scripts for system developments and releases, perform regression testing for system changes, and support User Acceptance Testing as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue Management - Identify system issues, Manage user incident tickets, investigate root causes and resolve systems incidents
  • Continuous improvement - Identify opportunities for technical and/or procedural improvement, understand & document business requirements for change requests
  • Business User Management - build partnerships with key business users in a matrix organisation across multiple regions to prioritise and manage expectations, particularly on change requests and system issues
  • Configuration - Create Master data and configuration files in Open text VIM, Ariba Cloud, manage approval flow templates in Open text VIM as well as Ariba Upstream and Downstream
  • Testing - design & perform functional test scripts for system developments and releases, perform regression testing for system changes and support User Acceptance Testing as required
  • Document Management - create Business Readiness Documentation (BRDs), prepare user guides & training material
  • Controls & SOX - Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual IT & Finance controls
Required Skills and Qualifications

This position requires knowledge of Open Text VIM ,SAP ERP & Ariba Cloud. Strong analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

Excellent knowledge of end to end Procure to Pay processes in several large organisations and strong Excel skills are also required.

Strong Communication skills, written and verbal - demonstrable experience mapping processes and writing standard operating procedures are necessary.
