Job Overview

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an ambitious Leading Hand to join a dynamic national commercial fit-out and refurbishment company as a key member of their operations team.

The Role:

You will support the day-to-day activities on site, focusing on carpentry tasks and coordinating labourers and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include site supervision, coordination of trades and personnel, documenting site activity, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and collaborating closely with the Foreman to review project progress.

Requirements:
  • A trade or tertiary qualification in Carpentry/Joinery, with experience working for a reputable building practice in Australia.
  • Experience complying with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • At least 1 year of experience working on similar commercial projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy.
  • A strong desire to advance your career in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
