Overview

Melbourne and Olympic Parks is an iconic, multi-venue precinct that showcases Melbourne to the world during the Australian Open. We deliver hundreds of entertainment, sporting, and community events each year across our world-class venues.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented People Systems Coordinator to join our team. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance of our people systems, streamlining HR processes, and improving data management practices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of our people systems, including system configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Identify opportunities for improving HR processes through automation and system enhancements, collaborating with HR and other teams to implement solutions.
  • Manage employee data, ensuring it is secure, accurate, and up-to-date, generating reports and dashboards to support decision-making with HR metrics and analytics.
  • Provide technical support to system users and conduct training sessions to enhance user proficiency and support effective use of HR technology.
  • E nsure compliance with data protection/privacy regulations and company policies, implementing and monitoring security measures to protect sensitive employee information.
  • Support HR technology projects and other initiatives to continuously enhance the way we use our systems and manage employee data.
  • Assist the HR team with critical administrative tasks related to the employee lifecycle, recruitment, and onboarding.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HRIS administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with relevant HR/people systems.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data management practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support and train system users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
