Location: Sydney - Inner West, New South Wales, Australia

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Credit Controller to oversee the maintenance of our debtors' ledger, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for releasing orders from credit hold, preparing monthly reports on overdue accounts, contacting customers regarding outstanding debt, handling customer account queries, and performing general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Release orders from credit hold to ensure timely payment processing
  • Prepare and review monthly reports on overdue accounts to identify areas for improvement
  • Contact customers via phone or email to resolve outstanding debt issues
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt responses to resolve queries
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the credit control function

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in credit control, preferably in a related field
  • Intermediate understanding of debits and credits, with strong numeric and computer skills
  • Prior experience with SAP is highly advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
  • A proactive attitude and self-motivation to drive results
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy in all tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
