Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to fill this key role.

  • Prepare and process monthly, fortnightly, and ad hoc pay runs with precision and accuracy.
  • Manage terminations and associated payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and onboard new starters efficiently.
  • Administer novated lease deductions as needed.
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting and analysis for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and provide award interpretation support.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll, preferably within professional services.
  • Strong understanding of Fair Work and state legislation.
  • Ability to interpret awards and apply employment entitlements effectively.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with payroll systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
