**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Team Member to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys social engagement, hands-on assistance, or supporting people in their community. As a Support Team Member, you will be providing culturally safe and person-centred support that respects and uplifts our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Assist clients with everyday tasks such as shopping, social outings, and household chores to help them maintain their independence.
  • Support clients with lawn maintenance and other practical needs to ensure they feel comfortable in their homes.
  • Facilitate group outings and activities that promote social connection and community engagement.
  • Have yarns with clients, offer companionship, and be a trusted presence in their lives.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for supporting our mob and making a positive impact.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to support clients in various ways.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Availability to travel across the Logan and/or Brisbane region.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • An Australian Federal Police Check.
  • A Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or eligibility to apply.
  • NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) or eligibility to apply.
