Job Title: Student Wellbeing Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our student wellbeing initiatives, fostering a culture of resilience, connection and positive mental health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a cohesive wellbeing framework across the school
  • Champion child safeguarding and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Oversee inclusive practices supporting neurodiverse learners, gifted students and those with additional needs
  • Lead wellbeing initiatives promoting staff and student wellbeing
  • Mentor and guide a team of wellbeing leaders and pastoral care staff
Requirements:

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in education and/or wellbeing-related fields
  • Current Teachers Registration Board of Tasmania registration or eligibility to obtain and Working with Vulnerable People registration
  • Proven leadership experience in developing whole-school wellbeing frameworks
  • Demonstrated expertise in child safeguarding, policy development and practice
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • A commitment to the Quaker ethos and values
