Director of Student Wellbeing

The role of Director of Student Wellbeing is pivotal in ensuring the overall wellbeing of students from Early Learning through to Year 12.

\

This position requires a leader who can foster a cohesive and whole-school approach to wellbeing, promoting resilience and positive mental health outcomes for all students.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Develop and implement student wellbeing programs that address academic, emotional, and social needs\
  3. Foster strong relationships with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration\
  4. Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect within the school community\
  5. Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement school-wide wellbeing strategies\
  6. Stay up-to-date with best practices in student wellbeing and make recommendations for improvement\
  7. Lead by example, demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence, empathy, and self-awareness\
  8. Maintain accurate records and reports on student wellbeing initiatives and progress\
  9. Identify and mitigate potential risks to student wellbeing, developing contingency plans as needed\
  10. Support staff professional development in student wellbeing areas\
  11. Establish and maintain partnerships with external agencies and organizations to enhance student wellbeing\
  12. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of student wellbeing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes\
