Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an organized, efficient and dedicated individual to join our team in a permanent full-time role. The ideal candidate will possess extraordinary skills for day-to-day phone based management of business customers.

  • Conduct outbound calls to existing customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and customers of various solutions offered by the company
  • Identify new business lead opportunities and communicate them via standard operating procedures to the relevant field sales person
  • Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone conversations and networking
  • Effectively manage and resolve all customer enquiries in a timely manner
  • Foster client retention and protect existing portfolio by identifying opportunities to re-sign and upgrade existing contracts
  • Create quality sales leads for the field based sales team
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure customer enquiries are resolved in a timely manner
  • Process enquiries efficiently and pro-actively resolve client issues

To be successful, you will need to have prior experience in Sales, Account Management and Customer Service roles. Highly developed negotiation skills to ensure contractual obligations are met, previous working experience in a similar role will be highly regarded, excellent customer service/telesales skills, demonstrated skills in B2B sales development, effective time management skills, intermediate computer and system skills, complaint handling experience, ability to work under pressure, multi-task and work autonomously, meeting deadlines and KPIs' on a daily/monthly basis, high attention to detail, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, love working in a team environment
