About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse or Midwife to join our team as an Educator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, developing, and evaluating professional development activities in conjunction with Nurses and/or Midwives and other relevant stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be Registered (or eligible for registration) as a Nurse and/or Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold, (or are eligible to hold), a current practicing certificate, with at least 3 years post-registration experience.

You will possess effective leadership skills, including highly developed communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Additionally, you will have innovation, creativity, and flexibility that can be applied to an education setting within a hospital/health service.

You will be able to prepare and undertake presentations of a high standard in various educational settings for both community and professional groups. You will also be able to develop, coordinate, and deliver education programs and conduct appropriate evaluation of these programs.

What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary package, including:

  • Salary range: $121,537 to $126,970 per annum, pro rata
  • Part-time position, 32 hours per week
  • Temporary up to 12 months, maternity leave cover
