Residential Youth Worker Position

We are seeking a qualified Residential Youth Worker to join our team. As a Residential Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing practical, physical and emotional support to young people in a residential setting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people, their families and other professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily living care and support to young people
  • Assisting with educational and recreational activities
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with young people, their families and other professionals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Driver's License (P2 or higher)
  • Working rights in Australia

Additional requirements include:

  • Enrolment into an Industry Related Qualification - many qualifications to choose from
  • First aid certificate
  • CPR certificate
  • Working with Children Check (blue card)
  • Hope and Healing certificate
  • Police check
