Youth Care Manager Position

This is a permanent full-time opportunity in residential care for young people living out of home care.
As a Therapeutic Care Leader, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people, and families by taking a therapeutic-centered approach. You will lead a team of Residential Care Practitioners and Youth Workers, coordinating day-to-day operations and providing mentoring, coaching, and supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate our service to ensure it aligns with the CARE model, making a positive impact on the lives of children, young people, and families.
- Manage a team of professionals working in a therapeutic care environment with children and youth who have suffered abuse or neglect.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, or social science.
- Experience incorporating the six CARE principles when supporting children and young people or reflection on how to incorporate these into team practice.
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children) and QLD Driver's Licence are mandatory.
