Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety and security of individuals in custody
  • Transport individuals safely and securely
  • Provide care in hospital and court settings

This position operates within a 24/7 environment and may involve coverage across various shifts. The successful candidate must be willing to work weekends and travel for work.

Requirements
  • Driver's license (MR truck license highly regarded)
  • Willingness to obtain First Aid certification
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass Police checks, Working with Children Check, and pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test)

Ventia provides full professional training to help you succeed in this role, working towards a Certificate III in Correctional Practice. Opportunity for long-term ongoing employment exists within the organisation.
