Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Architect Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing secure by design information security architecture services to various environments.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have a sound understanding of relevant industry frameworks, including the Information Security Manual and the ACSC Essential Eight Maturity Model. They should also have experience in systems, solutions, or enterprise architecture roles.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine the department's enterprise security architecture framework and services catalogue.
  • Engage with stakeholders on cyber security architecture activities, including the development and refinement of security architecture patterns.
  • Provide expert risk, assurance, and compliance advice to business areas to understand, identify, and document key controls to ensure key risks and compliance obligations are adequately managed.
  • Represent the team at technical committee and advisory board meetings, providing expert security architecture advice to facilitate the secure delivery of ICT services in support of international mission objectives.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the division, department, and portfolio.
  • Assist with the management of competing priorities, delivering outcomes in line with the cyber security strategy, ICT business plan, and departmental mission objectives.
