ICT Support Officer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ICT support officer to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide technical support for end-user computing infrastructure, including laptops, printers/scanners, mobile devices, and tablets. They will also be responsible for delivering level 2/3 ICT technical support for commercial software applications used by local staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for EUC infrastructure at the local office.
  • Deliver level 2/3 ICT technical support for commercial software applications used by local staff.
  • Manage and distribute the ICT laptop and desktop fleet.
  • Configure and support networked multi-function devices.
  • Provide and support ICT assistive technologies.
  • Facilitate office refits and relocations of ICT end-user hardware.
  • Monitor and manage ticket queues, triaging and resolving tickets efficiently.
  • Assist users with video conferencing and telephony.
  • Deliver day-to-day IT support to ABS staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong ICT technical skills, solid understanding of data networking, and hands-on experience in user onboarding, device imaging, software and hardware upgrades, and decommissioning of equipment.

They will also possess well-developed interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.

Applicants should have a strong inclination toward continuous learning, research, and curiosity-driven self-improvement.

Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (Cloud-based or On-Premises) is advantageous.
