As a key member of our Finance team, the Payroll Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll systems.

About the Role

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end processing of fortnightly payrolls with accuracy and maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records, systems, and databases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing new hires, transfers, and terminations.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records, systems, and databases.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation and enterprise bargaining agreements.
  • Providing high-level customer service when addressing employee payroll queries.

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Qualification in Payroll, Business, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership of work.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
