Emergency Broadcast Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to coordinate and support emergency broadcasting coverage across South Australia and Northern Territory, and Australia wide as required.

This is a contract part-time position with 30.4 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting emergency warnings and related content live to air across radio, posting emergency content to social media, and assisting in the creation of situational reports and coverage plans for emergency events.

In this role, you will also provide training to content makers in emergency procedures and liaise with emergency agencies and internal stakeholders.

To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in planning, gathering, and producing content and posting on multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of broadcasting live to air under pressure, preferably with experience in emergency broadcasting.
